Reverend Kristian Wassam has served as minister of the Word and sacraments since he was ordained at Providence Reformed Church in 2024. He earned a BA in biblical and theological studies from Bethlehem College and Seminary and an MDiv from Westminster Seminary California. His long and winding theological journey took him through pietism, the charismatic movement, the Young, Restless, and Reformed Movement, and finally, joyfully, to his home in the theology, piety, and practice of the confessionally Reformed tradition.

Kris’s wife Libby is the crowning achievement of his life along with their son Malachi. When he is not writing sermons, you might find him reading a theology book, walking his golden retriever (Hagrid), or teaching his son to delight in God’s common grace by enjoying such good gifts as steaks, his loving mother, and, of course, the movie Braveheart.
